Work in culture and arts is one of the many works undertaken by CASS. CASS has been conscientiously endeavouring to cultivate the understanding and interests of the next generation towards appreciating culture and arts through the running of cultural classes and activities since 1989. Some of our members even initiated the staging of cultural performances to promote the matter in the early period. By 1993, CASS Academy of Arts was formally established to coordinate and foster the conduct of various classes, and over the years, has nurtured thousands of students. Currently, at a number of locations, various classes are held, including ballet, drawing, martial arts, line dancing, etc. For details, please refer to the attached information sheet.
Creative Workshop for Children
A picture paints a thousand words.
When children have not yet developed the ability to communicate with speech and writing, arts activities provided them with an authentic self-expression, giving us a glimpse of their thoughts and feeling.
Unlike many other arts classes that structured by students’ age group; children aged 5 and above are placed into the same group in this workshop. They are given the same materials and art topics, and the teacher is there to support them according to their ability.
The goal of our workshop is to cultivate our students’ creativity, imagination along with observation skills (while they are having lots of fun) in a cycle of story drawing, still life drawing and craft making lessons. Through the encouragement of arts making, we hope students would build a foundation for the future with strong self-esteem, as well as independent problem-solving skills.

Students’ age groups: Aged 5 and above
Class structure: Story Telling (drawing) / Still life (drawing) / Craft making
Language: Cantonese, Mandarin and English
Course Fee Term 2 **: $135 - plus $10 oil pastel colour for new students ** All fees paid are non-transferable, non refundable and non-deferrable, in cases of students’ absence or withdrawal.
