Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Chinese Australian Services Society Ltd is usually held at the end of November each year and is one of the very important events of the Society.

In accordance with the Constitution of our Society, the Board of Directors is required to tabled and made a presentation of a “Directors’ Report” at the AGM with copy of the Report circulated to our members before the AGM. The content of the report includes review of operations, Annual Financial Report and other information, such as environmental issues, future development, etc., for the last Financial Year. Members attending the AGM can ask questions about the performance of the Society with respect to the Report.

At the AGM, members also elect new Directors, Alternate Directors and Elders. All active members of our Society have the opportunity to vote or stand for election.
